mechers posted the following to our community:
"What is a bear dyke? Does it have to do with SM? Or is it more of a fuzzy masculinity that's interested in girls? And what about being trans?"

How would you all answer this question? Seeing as how our current membership is all across the board, it would make sense to give everyone a chance to voice their opinion.

I'm not one so I can't define it for anyone but I have had a strong attraction to "bear" people my whole life. Usually (tho not always) they are women/trans/men of physical presence and size. If you watch a bear, how it plays, how it walks how it sleeps how it cares for it's young, how it fucks how it lazes...

you can see it in those people. I know a bear dyke when I see it in hir eyes, they way s/he moves, the way s/he laughs, the way s/he angers, the way s/he plays and hold hirself.

that's about as much as I can say on it...
